We are experienced in supporting spinal injury clients in getting home from hospital and re-establishing their personal lives. We recruit and train carers to meet client needs ensuring that they are a good social match. Specialist training includes bowel and bladder care, pain management, autonomic dysreflexia and moving people safely. Our carers can also support rehabilitation programs such as those prepared by a physiotherapist or a speech and language therapist. Our support goes beyond clinical care to assist clients in achieving maximum independence and quality of life, for example by assisting with driving, social activities, and household tasks.
