Individuals may have invasive or noninvasive ventilation for many reasons. Specialist training is required in respect of airway management including cough assist, suctioning, tracheostomy, and life support. We work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that our staff are competent to provide all aspects of care before clients are discharged home. As technology improves ventilated individuals are increasingly more able to safely access the community and lead more active lives. The Care Plan we agree with you will be flexible and allow you to optimize your lifestyle. We have supported ventilated patients to live at home after being discharged from Addenbrookes Hospital, Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
